Saskia has recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, majoring in Population Health at the University of Auckland. She has previously worked as a health promotion intern at Hāpai te Hauora across the Summer of 2021 and has since returned under the role of Māori Public Health Advisor, with plans to complete a Post-graduate diploma in Primary Teaching in 2022. Saskia is passionate about using her skills and knowledge in health promotion and education to serve her whānau and community in the far north and to work at a national level to improve health outcomes for all Maori.
